Account Registration

To create an account, you must register for our Services using your phone number. You agree to receive text messages and calls (from us or our third-party service providers) and verification codes to sign up for our Services.

Clap Messenger does not sell, rent, or monetize your personal data or content in any way - forever.

Clap Messenger never accesses your messages. You are responsible for keeping your device and your Clap Messenger account safe and secure. When you sign up with a new device, your old device will stop receiving all messages and calls.

No Access to Emergency Services

Our services do not provide access to emergency services providers such as the police, fire department, hospitals, or other public safety organizations. Be sure to contact the emergency services provider via mobile phone, landline, or other services.

Services of third-party

Our services may allow you to access, use, or interact with third-party websites, applications, content, and other products and services. When you use third-party services, privacy policies and policies govern your use of those services.

Your Rights and License with Clap Messenger

OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY RELATING TO, ARISING OUT OF, OR IN ANY WAY IN CONNECTION WITH OUR TERMS, US, OR OUR SERVICES WILL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100). THE FOREGOING DISCLAIMER OF CERTAIN DAMAGES AND LIMITATION OF LIABILITY WILL APPLY TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW. Availability of Our Services. Our services may be disrupted, including repairs, upgrades, or network or equipment failures. We may block some or all our Services, including certain features and support for certain devices and forums, at any time.

Dispute Resolution and Termination Terms

Conflict resolution. You agree to settle any disputes you have with us relating to or from our Terms of Use, We, or our Services specifically to the United States Regional Court for the Northern District of California or state court in San Mateo County, California. You also agree to submit to the personal jurisdiction of such courts for the purpose of prosecuting all such disputes. Privacy Policy

Clap Messenger uses the best security ever and secure encryption to provide private messaging and online hacking services to users worldwide ("Services"). Your calls and messages are always encrypted, so they will not be shared or viewed by anyone other than you and the intended recipients.

Information We Collect

Clap Messenger must receive or collect some information to operate, provide, improve, understand, customize, support, and market our Services, including when you install, access, or use our Services.

The types of information we receive and collect depend on how you use our Services. We require certain information to deliver our Services and without this we will not be able to provide our Services to you. For example, you must provide your mobile phone number to create an account to use our Services.

Our Services have optional features which, if used by you, require us to collect additional information to provide such features. You will be notified of such collection, as appropriate. If you choose not to provide the information needed to use a feature, you will be unable to use the feature. For example, you cannot share your location with your contacts if you do not permit us to collect your location data from your device. Permissions can be managed by tapping your profile photo to go to your settings menu on both Android and iOS devices.

Account information

When you create a Clap Messenger account, you register a phone number. We use your phone number and upload your contact list to Clap Messenger to provide our services to other Clap Messenger users, allowing you to exchange messages and call online with users on your contact list. You can choose by selecting additional information for your accounts, such as your profile name and profile picture.

Messages

Clap Messenger cannot remove encryption or access content for your messages or calls. Clap Messenger quotes encrypted messages on its servers to be temporarily delivered to offline devices (e.g., dead battery). Your message history is stored on your devices.

Additional technical information is stored on our servers, including randomly generated verification tokens, keys, push tokens, and other essentials for setting up calls and forwarding messages. Clap Messenger limits this additional technical information to the minimum required to use the Services.

Media (Images, Videos) and Files. When a user forwards media within a message, we store that media temporarily on our servers to aid in more efficient delivery of additional forwards.

Status

You may Update your status if you choose to include one on your account, Status lets you share text, photo, video, and GIF updates that disappear after selected Duration. You can send and receive status updates with people when you both have each other saved as contacts.

Contacts

Clap Messenger can automatically select which contacts in your address book (Contact List) for Clap Messenger users, using a service designed to protect the privacy of your contacts. Information from your phone Contact List may be recorded and forwarded to the server to determine which contacts are registered.

Usage And Log Information

We collect information about your activity on our Services, like service-related, diagnostic, and performance information. This includes information about your activity (including how you use our Services, your Services settings, log files, and diagnostic, crash, website, and performance logs and reports. This also includes information about when you registered to use our Services; the features you use like our messaging, calling, Status, groups (including group name, group picture, group description), profile photo, "about" information, when you last used our Services (your "last seen").

Location Information

We collect and use precise location information from your device with your permission when you choose to use location-related features, like when you decide to share your location with your contacts or locations others have shared with you. There are certain settings relating to location-related information which you can find in your device settings or the in-app settings, such as location sharing. Even if you do not use our location-related features, we use IP addresses and other information like phone number area codes to estimate your general location (e.g., city and country). We also use your location information for diagnostics and troubleshooting purposes

Clap TV

ClapTV use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to Google API Services User Data Policy including the Limited Use requirements

The moment you sign up for Clap TV, it will sync the contacts which are linked to your Google account using google's api.

You can manage your personal information in the settings of the Clap Messenger app. For example, you can update your profile information

Information we can share

Third Groups. We work with third parties to provide some of our services. For example, our Third Party Providers send a verification code to your phone number when you sign up for our Services. These providers are bound by their Privacy Policies to protect that information

Some situations where Clap Messenger may need to share your data

- Comply with any applicable law, regulation, legal process, or enforceable governmental request.

- Enforcement of applicable regulations, which includes the investigation of potential violations of the law.

- Detecting, preventing, or dealing with fraud, security, or technical problems.
